2. Transient Image Processing (On-Device OCR)

The core functionality of the PeekText macOS app involves extracting text from images on your screen. We want to be explicitly clear: we do not upload, store, or transmit your images or the extracted text to any external servers.

All Optical Character Recognition (OCR) processing is performed locally and transiently on your device. Once the text is extracted and copied to your clipboard, the temporary image data is discarded by the operating system. No image data leaves your machine.

3. Analytics and Hosting

To understand how our website is used and to ensure reliable uptime, we use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and user engagement. Google Analytics may collect your IP address, device information, and browsing behavior on our website through cookies. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

These third parties do not have access to your use of the PeekText macOS app itself, nor the contents of the images you process.
